Varje fredag håller Cradlenet temamöten med och för våra medlemmar i avslappnad diskussionsform. I temamötena möter ni likasinnade från olika branscher som delar med sig av sina erfarenheter. Vi börjar även varje möte med några cirkulära nyheter från Sverige och omvärlden.

Veckans tema: Matthew Fraser, Head of Research and Development at Circle Economy, will present the freshly released Circularity Gap Report 2024.

The circular economy seems to have entered the mainstream, but our data shows another story. Since 2019 the Circularity Gap Reports have provided crucial analysis on the state of global circularity, across which there has been a steady decline.

In the 2023 report, we explored the true impact the circular economy can bring; balancing the overshoot of planetary boundaries with human wellbeing. The pressing question we address in 2024 is: How can we turn these insights into actionable steps?

The Circularity Gap Report is produced by Circle Economy Foundation in collaboration with Deloitte and identifies key enablers and gives tangible recommendations for policy, finance and labour to accelerate progress towards the circular economy.
